HK Express has announced it will expand its services to Kuala Lumpur with a new route to the city's secondary hub - Subang.
The Cathay Group's budget subsidiary announced it will launch the new route – from Hong Kong to Subang Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport – with daily flights starting August 1. The budget carrier will use Airbus A320 aircraft on the new route.
Subang will add to HK Express' services to Kuala Lumpur, where it currently operates daily flights to the city's main international gateway – the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).
With the addition of HK Express' new connection to Hong Kong, travelers will be able to travel from Subang on four international routes. From Subang, Scoot and Firefly operates flights to Singapore Changi Airport, and TransNusa to Jakarta. In addition, Firefly operates flights to Singapore's second airport – Seletar.
